The 500 year-old building in the center of Bolzano was renovated in 1999 and 2000 according to plans by the Viennese architect Boris Podrecca.
It boasts 33 rooms and junior suites, each one has been individually designed by a specially appointed artist within the sope of the art project "Augenlust" (delight to be hold).
The rich and varied breakfast buffet set up in the bright breakfast room includes plenty of home-made and regional or local products.
The Grifoncino Bar and the Rooftop Lounge Bar are known for the best cocktails in town.
Guests have access to the historically laid-out park at the sister hotel Laurin, a green oasis in the heart of the town with pool, restaurant and bar.
