The country house is owned by Papi family, passed down from generation to generation, and currently restored by David and his mother Gabriella with love and respect of the ancient structure, preferring the restoring of the original elements, and preserving the history and its origin unchanged. David and Gabriella dream's was to transform their house, rich of history and memories, in a romantic luxury hotel, where guests can feel like being at home, and are cuddled in any moment during their stay.

Relais La Corte dei Papi offers luxurious accommodation in a tranquil, romantic setting just 10 minutes drive from Cortona. Look out over the gentle Tuscan hills from the pool.

Beautifully restored, La Corte dei Papi Hotel is made up of an 18th-century building and two small, characteristic cottages. Rooms feature exposed wooden beams, terracotta flooring and stone arches, while some also have hydromassage baths or showers.

Whatever room you choose you can expect a fruit basket on arrival, as well as a warm and friendly welcome.

Relais La Corte dei Papi's lush garden is also a pleasure to spend time in. Relax in the shade of the gazebo or sunbathe by the pool as you take in views of vineyards, olive groves and Tuscan hill towns.
