2014, the art-lodge was chosen one of the 100 nicest Hotels in Europe by GEO SAISON and gained the 3rd place of the "Austrian Innovation Award for Tourism". It received the "Hotel of the Future Award" 2012 and the "Carinthian Tourism Award" in 2010.

Nestled amid the Nockberge region in western Carinthia, the Art-Lodge Kunstpension is situated on a 68,000 m² plot of land. It offers natural pool, and panoramic views. Free WiFi is available in some rooms.

A former farm with a 300-year history, the main building was carefully renovated. The other rooms are located in the converted barn.

The owners' private art collection is spread across the entire property, and a sculpture park is on site.
