The Ty Dre building was used by the local council for many years even a recruiting office during world war 1.It then became a council office building for many years .In 2010 we purchased the building and renovated in 2013 completely to a 4 star standard with 13 rooms some with mini kitchens. Experience the real Welsh speaking heartland of wales.

Ty Dre Town House provides a stylish range of accommodation in the centre of Caernarfon, just 2 minutes’ walk from Caernarfon Castle. The property is set in an Edwardian building, and features free Wi-Fi, and also free public parking nearby.

Ty Dre Town House has en-suite bathroom facilities with bath or shower and complementary toiletries. There is a flat-screen TV, hairdryer, telephone and tea and coffee facilities in the spacious rooms. There are 4 floors with 2 disabled access rooms on the ground floor. The reception is located at the Black Boy Inn.

Caernarfon lies around 5 miles from the spectacular Snowdonia region. On the opposite side of the Menai Strait, you can drive to the beautiful Isle of Anglesey in around 15 minutes.
