Built in the 1980’s from the well known Basel architects Diener&Diener, our hotel meets the requirements of either business or leisure guests for a smooth and pleasant stay.

Just 150 metres from Basel Main Train Station and the airport shuttle bus and only 10 minutes' ride by public transport to Basel Messe convention centre, Metropol Hotel is a modern non-smoking hotel in the centre of Basel .

Metropol Hotel’s bright and soundproof rooms feature a flat-screen satellite TV, a minibar, a free coffee/tea maker, and a bathroom with toiletries, and a hairdryer. Free wired internet access is available in some rooms. All rooms are connected to a central ventilation system.

A 24-hour reception is available at the Metropol Hotel and an on-site private parking garage can be used against a surcharge. An internet station is available free of charge in the lounge room, which is also available for small meetings.
