Kesgrave hall has a varied history from a visit from King Edward to stay and take part in a shoot when the hall was used as a shooting lodge, during world war II, the building was requisitioned by an RAF unit, the 356th fighter Group and then a squadron officers billet in 1943 until the end of the War. Thereafter the hall has been used as several boarding schools and at one point a timber traders.
Paul Milsom and Joe Hills own the property now, they spent a year turning kesgrave hall into the luxurious 4* boutique hotel it is today.

Milsoms Kesgrave Hall is a charming boutique hotel set in beautiful grounds in the Suffolk countryside, just outside Ipswich. This beautiful property has a restaurant, large terrace and elegant rooms.

The spacious, modern rooms at Milsoms Kesgrave Hall have smart, stylish décor. There is free Wi-Fi, a free minibar stocked with soft drinks, a TV and a coffee maker.

Open all day, the brasserie has an open-plan, theatre kitchen, where you can see chefs preparing British cuisine with seasonal Suffolk produce.

The Suffolk Heritage Coastline and nature reserves can be reached in approximately 30 minutes by car. Ipswich can be reached in 20 minutes by car, while Felixstowe is 11 miles away.

The relaxing spa is tucked away within the woodland grounds and use of the facilities can be added to your stay. With 5 double treatment rooms, huge hot tub with covered terrace, log fire and a large sauna. Individual treatments and spa packages are also available.
