Grand Hotel Cochabamba’s premises possess a valuable history, as at one time it was part of the convent “La Santa Recolección de la Santísima Purísima Concepción” of the retired Franciscan brotherhood who settled in America three centuries ago.
In the 40s, the Arauco Prado family bought these premises, and thanks to their knowledge and admiration of French style and customs, they positioned the Grand Cochabamba Hotel as a symbol of prestige and quality, transcending through the years as an icon in Cochabamba.

In the year 2009, the Pavisic Corporate Group took charge of the Hotel endowing it with a renewed fresh and modern touch masterfully combining the classical environmental settings and adding the indispensable technology of today.
