The hotels boasts an outdoor infinity pool, an indoor heated pool and a private yacht club. It also features a 1,800-square-metre children's paradise as well as stunning lake views and garden views.

InterContinental One Thousand Lake Resort is a 30-minute drive from Qiandao Lake Town and a 20-minute drive from Qiandao Lake Bus Station. It is a 2.5-hour drive from Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport. Hangzhou West Lake is 161 km away, while Shanghai Hongqiao Airport is 339 km from the hotel.

All units are furnished in a natural and elegant style, with stunning views of the mountains and lakes through floor-to-ceiling windows and balconies. The all-day dining restaurant on the lake has an open kitchen, serving buffets and tapas from all over the world, as well as fresh Qiandao Lake seafood barbecue. The Japanese restaurant provides exquisitely crafted Japanese cuisine, while the lobby bar offers afternoon tea and wine with lake views. The lakeside bar features jazz performance and private karaoke rooms.
