The Grande Fjord Hotel was finished building in 1996, and has from the first day offered high standard of comfort, peace and quiet, surrounded by tall mountains, green forrests and the beautiful Geiranger fjord. It is located 2km north-west from the centre of Geiranger, away from the noise and cruice hordes. Comfort and service is our main focus, as we do everything we can to make your stay as pleasant and relaxing as possible. We offer a total of 48 rooms, 40 of them are facing the fjord.

A renovation is in progress and will be 100% finished by 2017.

Our restaurant serves a dinner buffet every evening, made of only local, quality ingredients. Breakfast is also served every morning from 07:30 - 10:00 and is always included in the room price.

Beautifully situated by the Geiranger Fjord, Grande Fjord Hotel offers rooms with cable TV and private bathrooms. Most rooms have private balconies with stunning fjord views. Free WiFi is available in common areas.

The 6th floor panoramic restaurant at Hotel Grande Fjord offers Scandinavian dishes and a buffet breakfast every morning, Drinks are available in the lounge bar.

Guests can hike to Dalsnibba, Ørnesvingen or Flydalsjuvet and enjoy the spectacular views. Boat cruises, fishing and canoeing are also popular activities in the area.

Geiranger village is 2 km from the hotel. The Geiranger Fjord is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Grande Fjord Hotel offers free transfer to Geiranger village upon request.
