With three dining pubs and a thriving food company behind them, Tony and Sarah Lethbridge purchased The Kings Arms in September 2007 and after a serious 18 month restoration project, the boarded-up Kings Arms rose from the ashes and opened its doors on 11th March 2009. First licensed as an Inn in 1813, the original grand frontage of the hotel remains; whilst inside has been completely transformed and refurbished, from cellar to loft! and lends itself to a more contemporary feel.

Set in an elegant Edwardian building, The Kings Arms boasts traditional charm and period features. Situated in rural Dorset, the 5-star hotel offers free parking, free Wi-Fi and a celebrated restaurant.

The stylish bedrooms at The Kings Arms are individually decorated with luxury fabrics and period furniture. All rooms have a marble bathroom with a rain shower, free luxury toiletries and fluffy bathrobes. Rooms also have a flat-screen TV, DVD player and tea/coffee facilities.

The Kings Arms Restaurant serves a modern British menu in the impressive dining room, which overlooks the croquet lawn. The cosy bar features natural slate and oak floors, and offers real ales and large terrace. Full English breakfasts are served daily.

Surrounded by the magnificent Dorset countryside, The Kings Arms Hotel is a 10-minute drive from historical Sherborne Castle and Abbey. The market town of Yeovil can be reached in 20 minutes’ drive, and Stonehenge is a 40-minute drive away.
