★★★★

Dave & Ann Bunney have owned The Havelock for over 5 years and aim to give a personal service to all of our guests. The Isle of Wight is a unique island to visit, we hope that after a stay with us, you will look to return both to the island and to us.

Set in attractive gardens, The Havelock offers a Mediterranean-style pool and en suite rooms, some have a sea view. There is some free private parking, and the seafront is close by.

Each stylish bedroom has digital TV with Freeview channels and tea/coffee facilities, and most of the rooms have free WiFi. A full English breakfast is provided using fresh local produce where possible. Vegetarian and gluten-free breakfasts are available daily.

The bar serves hot beverages throughout the day, and snacks are available. There is an outdoor terrace with seating, and the secluded swimming pool is open from mid May to mid September.

  6. The Crab Inn

Poor Carvery on this occasion. Stone cold mash and watery cauliflower cheese (not even grilled to finish). Shame. Think it was because the chef was clocking off at 4pm so we had the 'dump & run' :(
