We are a family run hotel in the heart of Zermatt. We try our best to give our guest a feeling of being at home. The family name Taugwalder has a long tradition in the history of Zermatt. Our ancestors were the first who climbed the Matterhorn 151 years ago.

The Hotel Pollux in the centre of Zermatt and 200 metres from the train station offers you newly renovated rooms, charmingly combining rustic elements with modern design.

The hotel has 3 restaurants. The Pinte features wooden furniture typical of Valais and serves specialities such as cheese fondue and raclette. The Arvenstube is an elegant restaurant featuring alpine chic desin and serving international and Vediterranean delicacies. The Vegistube is a vegetarian restaurant.

The breakfast buffet is included in the room rate.

WiFi is available in the entire hotel free of charge.

A conference room, a relaxation area with a Finnish sauna, a steam bath, a hot tub, a magic shower and a solarium are at your disposal as well.
