Sitting proud, above the Sound of Mull from its own rocky outcrop, Mingary castle has more than one story to tell...

The abandoned ruin of Mingary castle has been painstakingly renovated by a team of highly skilled craftsmen, who have made good the crumbling stonework, long lost roofs and floors buried deep in undergrowth, so once again Mingary can provide its guests with the finest of Highland hospitality.

Being a small hotel we offer a unique experience to use Mingary like a 2nd home and have your very own castle for the night. We love food and Iain and Darren cook a fine dining style tasting menu using local produce. We prepare everything from scratch so we do require 24hrs notice for dinner reservations so we can make sure your dietary requirements are taken into consideration.
