Our hotel combines todays design and aesthetic with the history of this house from the past. The oldest apartment house in Basel has once again starting to bloom. The front of the house and the exposed concrete from the 50’s remained, but the inside has been reinvented and redefined with charm, love and finesse.
The soul of the formerly existing carpet vendor did leave his marks in the rooms. The Indian “kilim” carpet is handmade and harmonizes with the raw nature of the concrete and the warm components of the oak furniture.
The interaction of the in- and exterior architectural design follows through the entire hotel; be it just the floral pattern on the pillows, the turquoise color that stands out in our bar and eatery, or the gleaming globes in the hotel rooms.
All of our guest from all over the world are carrying a story within themselves, in which our hotel will be a part of it as well or even influence it in a way.
We hope that one day, you will be a part of our and on the contrary we will be a part of your tale, which we both will carry into the vastness of the world.
