What is special? Presumably it is the combination of modern architecture and traditional hotel elements as well as the outstanding hospitality we offer. In fact a wellknown architectural magazine reported about the latest reconstruction . Didi Rossmann, the architect had the idea to gently transform a ninety year old inn according to the new philosophy “THE NEW SIMPLICITY” into a place where people find pure ease and comfort. He has done this so very well, that yet 25 architecs of the Stuttgart city came to visit the new hotel.

Located directly on the shore of Lake Heiterwang, a 15-minute drive from Reutte, Hotel Fischer am See offers a private beach and a restaurant with a covered terrace. Spa facilities include a Finnish sauna, a bio sauna, a steam bath, and a relaxation room with lake views.

The spacious rooms overlook the mountains and the garden. They are furnished in a modern Alpine style and feature a flat-screen satellite TV and a bathroom.

Free private parking is available at the Fischer am See. Lake Plansee is 2 km away, and the Almkopf Ski Lift is 4.5 km away. Oposite of Hotel Fischer am See is a little campsite on the shore of Lake Heiterwang.

The royal castles of Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau are a 30-minute drive away, and Linderhof Castle is a 40-minute drive away.
