Our property sits in 3 aches of Garden and Woodland with 2 waterfalls separating the garden from the woodland which run into the river Wnion. Lovely walks on the property and has access to a lovely walk along the River. Lovely spots to sit and relax. The B&B is a 7 min drive from the town called Dolgellau so you benefit from the tranquil location and the convenience of a short drive to town. We serve dinners in house 3 or 4 times a week (pre ordering is required).

Situated at the foot of Cader Idris mountain, Afon Rhaiadr Country House is within the heart of Snowdonia and offers white-water rafting, kayaking and mountain biking in the local area. This Victorian house also features free on-site parking and a private garden.

With free Wi-Fi, each room at Afon Rhaiadr offers a flat-screen TV and views of the garden. The majority of rooms offer an en suite rain shower and one room has a spa bath with a handheld shower.

Guests can enjoy meals in the candle-lit dining room, and relax in the elegant drawing room which is furnished with a mixture of Victorian and Edwardian antiques, and has doors leading into the conservatory and garden. The property has a section of beers, wines and locally brewed ales.

Coed y Brenin Forest Park is a 20-minute drive away and is well-known as a mountain bike resort and for its hiking trails.
