Tuileries was a well established Restaurant back in the 1970’s/80’s. It was originally opened by Anna and John Bryers in the homestead on Tuileries Vineyard, adjacent to Sunday Creek.
In 1995 the Lamb family purchased Tuileries and over time proceeded to expand and enhance the Restaurant. Initially the courtyard was upgraded to include our Le Cafe. The old barrel room was then transformed into Tuileries Function Centre, capable of seating up to 150 guests. In 2001 our first rooms, 1 – 5 were completed and opened. Then in 2003 The Olive Mews Unit’s were transformed from the old North East Victoria Bonded Liquor Store which originally opened in the late 1800’s and further units were developed over the next few years.
In 2013 The Lamb Family sold Tuileries Restaurant & Accommodation and a new company was formed which merged Tuileries and Rutherglen Estates as sister companies. The vineyard which our rooms overlook has been planted by Rutherglen Estates to include Shiraz, Durif and Tempranillo.

Situated in Rutherglen, 34 km from Bowser Station, Tuileries at De Bortoli Rutherglen features accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. 40 km from Wangaratta Performing Arts Centre and 50 km from Lauren Jackson Sports Centre, the property provides a bar and a tennis court.
